We were contacted by Thomas Recruitment as part of their new brand and location refresh project to lay new vinyl and luxury carpet tiles in their three high-street offices in Bristol, Blackwood and Pontypridd.
Creative carpet tiling in plank form across three locations…
Burmatex Tivoli plank carpet tiles were chosen for the project due to their durability, as they are made with 100% solution dyed nylon and are suitable for heavy commercial use (class 33), and also allowing for a unique, striking flooring and stair design to be created to compliment the working environment. Quality Vinyl was also laid in areas extending to the buildings kitchen and toilet facilities.
Our carpet tiling team carried out the following:
- Carpet tiling
- Entrance matting
- Stair nosings
- Vinyl fitting
- Vinyl skirtings
- Recycling of old carpet tiles
- Desk lifting system
Additional Milliken Obex heavy duty entrance matting was laid in the Bristol office entrance to stop dirt, moisture and debris from entering the building, however, due to a significant difference in floor levels the installation of hazard nosings was essential to help prevent tripping accidents.
The Pontypridd office is a busy working environment, which meant that the project was completed over a three-day duration and out of hours for minimal disruption. Whereas the Bristol and Blackwood offices were new sites and unoccupied at the time of fitting, allowing for an efficient installation.
Once again, a fantastic outcome with our completed office carpet tiling showing measurable quality!
